How to Care for your Vera Bradley Handbags and Purses

Submitted by Katie on Saturday, 26 July 2008No Comment

I thought there may be some of you that may be wondering what is the best way to care for your Vera Bradley handbags. These few pointers have kept mine looking brand new many, many months later. So, I thought I might pass the information along to you.

All of the Vera Bradley handbags are made of 100% cotton. It is recommended that you machine wash them in cool water on a gentle cycle for the best care. Always be sure to check the care label inside each Vera Bradley product for fabric contents and special care insert card for any special instructions to keep the bag nice. It is also a good idea to use only a mild detergent and air dry them instead of throwing them in the dryer. If your particular handbag or purse has a solid bottom, it must be removed before washing. I made this mistake only once!

Is there anyone else that has found other cleaning regimens that also work? It is always good to know the best way to keep my handbag treasures looking their best. What do you do to clean yours? I would love to hear your ideas.

Sincerely yours -
Katie- Handbag Diva
